Tiger, Hear it ROARR!

Technology: ADOBE XD, Invision

About the project

The ROARR Mobile platform is aimed at creating a higher and more consistent engagement from all Tiger brands staff with all organisational communication. The platform will be used to deliver timeous multimedia content that will be available to the organisation on their internet enabled phones. Users are able to comment on new and specific role based team members are able to upload news/updates to share with their team members.

The problem

The current ROARR platform is not currently being used as much as it should. On initial login the dashboard has multiple news sections and is difficult to navigate through which news items apply to you as an individual and department. It also has a holding page that is meant to have personalised messages from the managers before you get to the dashboard.

The solution

We decided to go with a more personalised approach:

  • Colour coded content per department
  • quick access to their department news straight from the dashboard.
  • Cutting down the amount of clicks it takes to get to their department information.

This would enhance the user experience, supply the teams with relevant content and make engagement with content more likely to happen.

Information architecture

The initial sitemap was created by the agency and they requested me to just create a flow of how the registration would work as most of the employees don’t actually have emails so all registration would have to be done via a mobile number. This would allow all employees to be included in the use of this platform, from factory floor workers to account managers

Wireframes

Created low-fidelity wireframes for my own personal use before rolling out to design.

Concept

Design execution, kept simple – bringing in personalised department colours, direct access to their department news.
